Women In Tech, Entertainment & Sports

PHILANTHROPIC PROGRAM

Empowering women since 2020 through education, grants, and executive networks. This philanthropic program champions confidence and opportunity for women. Every $100 raised directs $10 to advance women’s pathways in tech, entertainment, and sports, funding scholarships, technical grants, work stipends, and the Second Chance Program.

Founded in 2020

10% of every $100 raised supports Asian Hall of Fame’s remarkable pathway that advances confidence in women in tech, entertainment, and athletics. Through a comprehensive approach, the program offers education and workforce development grants, then connects women with paid projects and executive networks.

Proceeds from this year’s season equip women with support and funds scholarships, technical grants, and work stipends.

Women in Tech Grant

Angelina Wu

Women in Tech Grant Recipient

“Asian Hall of Fame stepped in and literally changed the trajectory of my life. Through my work here, I’ve been able to remain in the U.S. and continue pursuing my dream of becoming a UX designer in the video game industry. Even more remarkably, AHF became E-Verified to support my STEM OPT and is now eligible to provide H-1B sponsorship – giving me a rare and precious sense of stability in a process often marked by uncertainty. Thanks to your support, I can now focus my energy on growing professionally and creatively without fear of deportation.

Through the program, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that span research, design, and innovation. From developing sustainable design strategies for our upcoming performing arts center, to designing inductee nameplates and Connie Chung’s centennial medal, to leading our website redesign, I’ve been able to apply my full range of skills in exciting and impactful ways.”

Women in Entertainment Grant

Sabrina J. Liu

Women in Entertainment Workforce Grant Recipient

“Because of my projects, I am able to make rent and pay for groceries each month. In addition, I am encouraged to have a flexible schedule and to keep my focus on acting. Over the past six months, I have been able to take time off to film three different short films that have helped me gain footage for my demo reel and to act in multiple workshops at reputable theatres in Los Angeles and San Diego.

Not only is the Asian Hall of Fame helping me fulfill my basic needs, it is also elevating my network as an artist. Through the Asian Hall of Fame, I have met powerful AAPI artistic leaders and experienced opportunities that I never would have come across if not for the Asian Hall of Fame.”

Women in Sports Scholarships

Launching in late 2025, our newest program extension champions women pursuing careers in athletics. Through upcoming scholarships and partnerships, we aim to advance equity, visibility, and opportunity for women in sports.

Scholarship announcements from our inaugural recipients coming soon.

Second Chance Program

The fund’s Second Chance Program supports single mothers and women who have experienced homelessness, teenage pregnancy, and other interruptions to their education. This crucial lifeline enables women to rebuild their lives and contribute to their communities.
