Woman of the Year

AWARD

In 2026, Asian Hall of Fame will broaden its “Woman of the Year” award to recognize a distinguished group of influential women from diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds, each of whom plays a pivotal role in shaping a more inclusive future. These remarkable role models will be honored for their significant leadership - often times in traditionally male-dominated fields - and for exemplifying Asian Hall of Fame values of legacy, charity, and intercultural synergy. In addition to featuring each honoree in its commemorative magazine, Asian Hall of Fame will also award a grant to a charity of the honoree’s choice. Woman of the Year will be selected by a committee that includes esteemed Inductees and prominent figures, with no fee required to accept the honor.

2026 Woman of the Year will be presented at the annual California Icons Gala, set to take place on May 1 at The Biltmore Los Angeles. Previous presenters and attendees have included notable individuals such as Nancy Kwan (Inductee 2021), Adele Lim (Inductee 2023), Lynn Valbuena (Chairwoman, Yuhaviaatam of San Manuel Indians), and Kevin Kwan (Inductee 2017), among others.
